Péter Inkei is director of the Budapest Observatory. He was a consultant of the Council of Europe, the Open Society Institute, the World Bank etc. Earlier served as civil servant and was deputy to the Hungarian minister for culture between 1996-1998. He was a board member of CIRCLE 2000-2006, and of LabforCulture 2004-2006. Since 2001 executive manager of the Central European University Press. |

Péter Inkei is director of the Budapest Observatory and was formerly deputy to the minister for culture between 1996-1998. He was also a consultant of the Council of Europe (Mosaic project, cultural policy review on Albania etc.), the Open Society Institute, the World Bank etc. Between 2000-2006 he was been a board member of CIRCLE, 2004-2006 member of the Steering Committee of the LabforCulture, and since September 2001 executive manager of the Central European University Press.
